Donna Gephart has spent all her life with words, so it’s no wonder that her books are so beloved by readers, and we’re thrilled to have her in The Booking Biz family.
Donna wrote her first story when she was around age 9, but she had been living with stories all her life. When she was little, her mother took her to the library every week, and rode her bike there when she was old enough.
She kept writing all through high school and college, and after she graduated, she began writing for greeting card companies, magazines, and children’s book publishers including Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster and Holiday House.
Her books have won awards, received wonderful reviews and entertained lots of young readers. As well entertaining kids in her books, Donna now also inspires them in her school visits.
