New York Times best-selling author Robin Benway has joined The Booking Biz family, and we’re excited to welcome her.
Robin is the author of six young adult novels, and has stacked up a large pile of awards. Her most recent novel, FAR FROM THE TREE, was the winner of the 2017 National Book Award for Young People’s Literature and winner of the 2018 PEN American Award for Young Adult Literature, as well as on number best-of lists.
In FAR FROM THE TREE, Robin explores the complex issue of family, which she also wrote about in THE EXTRAORDINARY SECRETS OF APRIL, MAY & JUNE.
Her first novel, AUDREY, WAIT!, showcased Robin’s humor, following a girl who’s skyrocketed to fame after the boyfriend she dumps writes a song about her that becomes a number one hit.
She also used her funny bone for her AKA series, ALSO KNOWN AS and GOING ROGUE, about a 16-year-old safecracker who’s also the daughter of international spies.
Robin lives in Pasadena, Calif., with her adorable dog, Hudson.
