Children learn from all types of books, and the latest clients in the Booking Biz family represent just that.
Author/illustrator Salina Yoon touches the hearts of children of all ages with her adorable characters and heart-warming stories. In her signature Penguin picture book series, which begins with PENGUIN AND PINECONE, a young penguin finds love and friends. The theme of friendship is also echoed in Salina’s picture book BE A FRIEND, which is inspired by the author/illustrator’s own life when she came to the U.S. from Korea as a child and started kindergarten at age 4 not knowing a word of English.
Salina is as warm as her characters, as you can see in the video on her speakers page. As she told us when she joined our family, “Writing and illustrating books for children is my passion, but to actually interact with kids is what fuels it! I’m thrilled to partner with The Booking Biz to have the opportunity to meet even more kids all over the world. I want to share my message of the power of creativity and dedication to impact change in anyone’s life!”
